Pipes don't wait for daylight to fail, and our Chico dispatch team doesn't wait for morning to respond. Our Chico-based teams arrive with truck-mount extractors, moisture meters, and drying gear staged and ready to go.
Too many Chico, CA families have called a big national number only to get bounced through hold music before a random subcontractor shows up hours later, so Hirex Water Damage built its Chico operation differently. Every technician on our Chico roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Chico isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. We carry full general liability coverage and are licensed to operate throughout Chico, CA, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
We keep a stocked warehouse inside Chico, CA so equipment never has to be trucked in from another region, which is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-day one.
Ask any Chico property manager who has dealt with a burst supply line at 3am — the difference between a crew that shows up ready and one still loading a truck at the shop is measured in gallons of water soaking into your subfloor. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Chico call at a time.
Water damage doesn't always look dramatic at first — some of the costliest Chico jobs we've handled began as a small, easy-to-miss problem. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If you're nodding along to any of these, get ahead of it now rather than later — our Chico dispatcher will give you an honest read on urgency, not a sales pitch.
We size the Chico response to the actual damage — a single-room extraction gets a two-person crew, a commercial loss gets the full fleet — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a Chico property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers based on actual psychrometric calculations, not a standard equipment count per room, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For families in Chico, this covers flood-cut drywall removal, subfloor evaluation, and packing out salvageable belongings for cleaning, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Multi-unit and commercial Chico properties get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment to cover the real square footage, not a token setup — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
When a Chico job involves sewage backup, our team suits up in full PPE, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and safely disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
Every Chico job includes a preventive antimicrobial application, and if we spot conditions that need full remediation we tell you plainly instead of quietly hoping it clears up.
You get a written estimate before any equipment runs, not a mystery total handed to you after the fact.
Our Chico, CA warehouse keeps drying equipment close, which typically puts a Chico tech at your door inside an hour.
We photograph and log every step specifically so your claim moves faster and you're not the one arguing with the insurance company.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider a Chico job done, and getting there again is on us, not you.
A short call with our Chico dispatcher tells us whether this is a one-room job or a multi-crew response before anyone drives out.
A licensed technician heads to your Chico address with extraction and drying equipment already loaded.
Standing water comes out first; drying equipment gets placed only after we've mapped exactly where moisture is hiding.
We re-check moisture levels daily until materials hit dry standard, then hand you full documentation for your records or your insurer.
Every Chico job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That's not a marketing line — it's written into every Chico work order we issue. A repeat visit under this guarantee doesn't mean starting over — we pull the original moisture logs and pick up exactly where the last visit left off.
